Kendall Vertes Dance Moms Candy Apples Dance CenterCathy Nesbitt Stein and her daughter, Vivi-Anne Quinn Stein appeared on Season 1 of Dance Moms at the Abby Lee Miller Dance Company.  Cathy’s birthday is April 19.  She graduated from Timken Highschool in 1977 in Caton, OH.  Cathy went to college at Kent State.  Vivi is adopted from Guatemala.  Cathy has a Twitter and Facebook.  Cathy is married to Mike Stein who is a insurance adjuster and owns Tommy’s Jerky Outlet.  In season 2 episode 9 of Dance Moms, Chloe Lukasiak appeared in a commercial for Tommy’s Jerky Outlet.  Cathy and Abby Lee Miller knew each other before the show started and that is why Vivi-Anne was on the show.  Cathy owns Candy Apples Dance Center in Canton Ohio.  Cathy decides to leave Abby Lee Miller Dance Company and go back to her own studio.  Cathy wants Candy Apples Dance Center to beat Abby Lee Miller Dance Company and goes to the same competitions.  In Season1 Episode 10 of Dance Moms Vivi-Anne Stein and Justice Mccort go head to head with Mackenzie Ziegler and Nia Frazier.  In this same season Cathy had her student, Taylor O’Lear go against Chloe Lukasiak, using the same solo music as Chloe.   Taylor O’Lear has a Facebook.  In Season 2 Episode 2 of Dance Moms, Cathy’s Candy Apples Dance Center goes to Rising Star Dance Competition to compete against Abby Lee Miller Dance Company.

Candy Apples  performs group number “Baile Espanola” against Abby Lee Miller’s “The Bad Apples”.   “The Bad Apples” wins 1st overall and “Baile Espanola” wins 2nd overall.  Erika Schrade, from candy apples also performs a solo against Brooke Hyland but is disqualified due to being in the wrong age category. Erica Schrade has a Twitter and Facebook.  In Season 2 Episode 3, Cathy and her dancers travel to Starbound Dance Competition to compete against ALDC.  Candy Apples gets 8th overall for their Dance Mermaids, while ALDC get 1st overall for Born to Dance.  At some point during the second season of Dance Moms, Kendall Vertes goes to Candy Apples Dance Center and competes with them against Abby Lee Dance Company.  Taylor from Candy Apples Dance Center breaks her foot at a dance competition in Season 2 of Dance moms performing a grand jete :(

    I think Candy is way out of her league. Cathy you are not a choreographer like Abby and when you hire someone else to do that for you, it makes you look untalented and unprofessional. Abby is very talented. Plus you have not trained your dancers, anybody can buy dancers. Good luck, I think you need alot of it.
